About the Property
This project was a newly-constructed home built near a sensitive wetland area. Care had to be taken to mitigate any wetland disturbance. The project entailed significant stone retaining walls to be constructed to allow for foundation plantings, and walkways to be installed in the front of the house. The rear of the property abutted the aquaduct from Quabbin Reservoir.
Kevin was great. He helped us through the conservation process and got us everything we wanted. His knowledge and professionalism is outstanding. The landscape work he and his crew designed for us was perfect for what we wanted.
– Pat & Ray
Heavy screen plantings were installed in this area to provide privacy and a buffer from the pipeline. A radial brick patio surrounded by lush plantings was installed off of the master suite for private sitting and dining. The back screen-porch and deck was tastefully planted with colorful evergreen and flowering shrubs providing season long enjoyment. The driveway construction required careful construction and installation of culverts to traverse the wetland areas. We worked with our clients and the local conservation commission to successfully complete the entire project.
